John Morris, Iergo
A highly experienced Data Migration professional with a 25 year history in information technology. For the last ten years he has specialised solely in delivering Data Migration projects. During that time he has worked on some of the biggest migration projects in the UK and for some of the major systems integrators.
John is the author of "Practical Data Migration" the top selling book on data migration published by the BCS (British Computing Society). John Platten, Vivamex
John Platten is CEO and Principal Consultant of Vivamex Limited a data migration, data warehousing and data management consultancy. John has worked in IT for over 20 years and began building data warehouses around 1995 when the concept was relatively new. In a different field, he is also the author of the computerised offender portrait system E-FIT often seen on BBC Crimewatch.
His clients have included T-Mobile, GlaxoSmithkline, BP, and Shell where he has led data warehouse projects, data cleanse initiatives and ERP migrations onto SAP. Despite the worrying Bloor Research migration failure statistics he has yet to lose a patient. He puts this down to having only one eye on the technical issues and the other firmly on wider project dynamics such as planning, project management and risk management. Tony Sceales, Celona
Tony Sceales is CTO and Founder of Celona and has spent the last 26 years working in the Telecoms, Financial Services and IT industries in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
He has driven major software development and implementation programmes for both user organizations and vendors including BT, The Prudential, AON and IBM.
He is a regular author and speaker on the software and Telecoms industry. He co-founded Celona Technologies and is now Chief Technology Officer for the company, responsible for strategic technology and product direction.

Steve Tuck, Datanomic
Steve is Chief Strategy Officer for Datanomic. Steve has more than 20 years IT experience, 14 of which have been gained specifically in data quality management. During his career, Steve has improved data quality for organizations including BT, Thomas Cook, Credit Suisse, Norwich Union and the Inland Revenue.
Steve has also held a number of senior IT roles including manager of products and services at data management specialist Kognitio and Managing Director of Tranato, a specialist data quality consultancy acquired by Datanomic in 2006. He is also a Charter Member of the International Association of Information and Data Quality (IAIDQ - www.iaidq.org) and Secretary of its UK Community of Practice.

Jay Varner, Saber Government Solutions
Jay is the Senior Director of Data Management for Saber, and has over 15 years experience in data management and migration. Jay’s focus during his career has been exclusively on government systems in the United States, including Voter Registration, Motor Vehicles, Retirement, Benefits, Public Health, and Unemployment. He specializes in large-scale integration of multiple disparate data sets into centralized systems with a key focus on data quality, duplicate resolution, accurate parsing of free-form field values, and interfacing with a wide variety of external systems.
